Job Description — Growth Marketing Manager
About the Role
Veem is hiring a hands-on, strategic Growth Marketing Manager to drive scalable, data-led growth across our B2B funnel. You will own initiatives spanning acquisition, activation, pipeline creation, revenue, retention, and expansion.
This role sits at the intersection of Marketing, Sales, and Product. You will develop demand-generation programs, improve funnel conversion, strengthen product-led and sales-assisted motions, and create a disciplined experimentation engine focused on measurable business outcomes.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on:
Full-funnel growth strategy and execution
Demand generation, ABM, and paid acquisition
Lifecycle marketing and customer expansion
Conversion-rate optimization and experimentation
Marketing automation and AI-enabled workflows
Analytics, attribution, and revenue performance
This is not a role focused solely on brand awareness or top-of-funnel lead volume. Success requires direct ownership of pipeline quality, conversion, revenue impact, and growth efficiency.
The ideal candidate can:
Translate business goals into measurable growth programs
Balance strategic planning with hands-on campaign execution
Identify and resolve friction across complex B2B buying journeys
Build strong operating relationships with Sales and Product
Use data to prioritize opportunities and improve performance
Lead projects and develop team members without relying on formal authority
You will work with stakeholders across the business to establish growth priorities, execute programs quickly, and build repeatable systems that support Veem’s continued expansion.
What You’ll Do
Full-Funnel Growth
Own the growth strategy across acquisition, activation, pipeline, revenue, retention, and expansion.
Drive pipeline through inbound, outbound, product-led, paid, partnership, and account-based channels.
Balance product-led growth with sales-assisted motions across different customer segments.
Identify funnel constraints and prioritize the opportunities with the greatest revenue impact.
Demand Generation and Paid Acquisition
Build and optimize demand-generation, ABM, paid search, paid social, and performance marketing programs.
Manage campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
Use ICP-based targeting and intent data to reach high-value accounts and buying groups.
Develop programs for audiences across North America, Europe, and other priority international markets.
Experimentation and Conversion
Design and execute rapid experiments across the website, onboarding, lifecycle, and acquisition channels.
Improve conversion across demos, trials, self-serve signups, and other key customer journeys.
Develop clear hypotheses, testing plans, measurement frameworks, and actionable recommendations.
Turn successful experiments into repeatable, scalable growth programs.
Lifecycle and Expansion
Build email, nurture, onboarding, reactivation, retention, and expansion programs.
Partner with Product to improve activation, onboarding, and product-led growth motions.
Use behavioral and customer data to create relevant lifecycle experiences.
Increase engagement, product adoption, retention, and customer lifetime value.
Sales and Product Partnership
Partner with Sales on ICP definition, account targeting, messaging, lead quality, pipeline creation, and sales velocity.
Improve MQL-to-SQL conversion and alignment across funnel stages.
Collaborate with Product on activation, onboarding, product positioning, and growth priorities.
Create clear feedback loops among Marketing, Sales, Product, and customer-facing teams.
Analytics and Marketing Operations
Own growth reporting, attribution, forecasting, and performance optimization.
Build dashboards tracking CAC, LTV, ROAS, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, revenue, and retention.
Maintain reliable measurement across marketing automation, CRM, analytics, and advertising systems.
Use data to communicate results, guide investment decisions, and prioritize future experiments.
Automation and Team Enablement
Manage marketing automation and AI-enabled workflows or agents.
Identify opportunities to use AI to improve research, campaign execution, personalization, analysis, and operational efficiency.
Support and develop marketing team members through clear priorities, feedback, and shared operating practices.
Evaluate new channels, technologies, and growth strategies that could create scalable opportunities.
Must-Have Qualifications
4–8+ years of experience in B2B growth, demand generation, performance marketing, revenue marketing, product growth, or lifecycle marketing.
Experience in fintech, payments, financial services, or cross-border payments.
Experience operating in a growth-stage company, ideally with approximately 100–500 employees or a comparable environment.
A proven record of generating qualified pipeline and revenue, beyond top-of-funnel activity metrics.
Strong understanding of B2B funnels, including lead, MQL, SQL, opportunity, and closed-won stages.
Hands-on paid acquisition experience across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, paid search, or paid social.
Experience with funnel optimization, conversion-rate optimization, and structured experimentation.
Experience building lifecycle, nurture, reactivation, retention, or expansion programs.
Strong working knowledge of CAC, LTV, ROAS, attribution, conversion, and pipeline reporting.
Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, or comparable CRM and marketing automation platforms.
Experience working with analytics tools such as GA4, Mixpanel, SQL, or similar platforms.
Experience using or managing AI-enabled tools, agents, or automated workflows.
Strong cross-functional partnership skills, particularly with Sales and Product teams.
A strategic but hands-on working style, with the ability to prioritize and execute in an ambiguous environment.
Experience leading projects, mentoring colleagues, or managing and developing team members.
Bonus Qualifications
Strong bonus points for candidates with:
Product-led growth or hybrid product-led and sales-assisted experience
Account-based marketing and ICP-based targeting expertise
6sense or other intent-data platform experience
Experience optimizing demo, trial, or self-serve signup journeys
Campaign experience across Canada, the United States, Europe, or other international markets
Technical fluency with tracking, integrations, APIs, and growth tooling
Experience marketing global payments, virtual accounts, card products, or stablecoin-enabled financial services
